• How much does the FIU specialty license plate cost?

  The specialty plate costs an additional $25, plus other local and state fees.

• How can I order the FIU specialty license plate?

  You can order the FIU specialty license plate online through the FIU Parking and Transportation website. Online orders are processed within 7-10 business days. You may also get it directly at your local tag agency.

• Can I customize my FIU specialty license plate?

  Yes, you have the option to request a customized license plate. Customized plates may take approximately 60 to 90 business days to arrive.

• What if my vehicle registration expires soon?

  If your vehicle registration expires within three months of ordering your specialty plate, a separate payment for your registration renewal will be processed to complete the license plate replacement.

• How will I receive my FIU specialty license plate?

  You can pick up your specialty plate and vehicle registration at any FIU Parking and Transportation office. Alternatively, it can be mailed to your doorstep or picked up from your local tag agency.
